I know Wahyd Vannoni since 2005 when I was asked to evaluate his corporate communications consulting services in my capacity as .... . Mr. Vannoni has been evaluated by three senior directors of Ferrovie dello Stato from various departments as well as the Director of Human Resources responsible from training.
We all gave Mr. Vannoni high marks and we recommended his services be brought on board. Since then, Mr. Vannoni coached more than 100 directors at Ferrovie's training centre in Rome. Coaching focused on presentation skills, message generation, media training, public speaking. This was done mostly in Italian but some directors, including myself, were coached in English, others still, in Spanish. Mr. Vannoni's performance was reviewed by each participant. Wahyd arrived in Croatia in September 2005. By November 2006 he was elected to the Board of Governors of AMCHAM by its member base of 130 companies. Wahyd leveraged his communications skills to deliver a speech that served as the deciding factor in the election. It struck me that his reputation and positive attitude had been quickly recognized in a country where he had only worked for a year. Additionally, his marketing knowledge allowed him to successfully explain his assets to key constituencies.
At AMCHAM his first initiative was to assess the Chamber's status and suggest a long-term communications strategy to bring the group to its next phase of development. On top of his consulting duties, and other board work Wahyd manages the implementation of this strategy.
